American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN to join a Level 1 Trauma Center. The role requires on-call availability and cardiovascular intervention experience.

Responsibilities include patient care in a Radiology/Cath Lab, collaboration with the medical team, and on-call coverage for weeknights, weekends, and holidays. Requires IL RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIHSS, and 3+ years of nursing experience including critical care.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience including 1 year of critical care experience.

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with education verification required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience including 1 year of critical care experience
• Cardiovascular Intervention experience required
• Must successfully pass an EKG test prior to completion of orientation

Responsibilities

• Hospital‑based Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab setting within a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Day shift schedule with on‑call rotation covering weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Uses Epic EMR
• Utilizes the nursing process and critical thinking in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing standards and state practice regulations
• Develops and executes individualized patient plans of care in coordination with physician orders and hospital policy
• Provides patient and family education and participates in department performance improvement activities
• Holiday coverage required
