Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN for an Interventional Radiology position in a busy IR department at a comprehensive stroke teaching hospital in Florida. Candidates must have an active FL/Compact RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of IR nursing experience.

Travel rate available for those living 100+ miles away. Responsibilities include working in a busy IR dept, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM 4x10 shifts, on-call requirements, and potential floating to affiliated hospitals.

Qualifications

Active FL or Compact RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 1 year of IR nursing experience
Cerner charting experience preferred
Date of birth required for consideration

Responsibilities

Work in a very busy Interventional Radiology department within a Comprehensive Stroke, teaching hospital
Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
On-call responsibilities required
Floating required within the assigned hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital as needed
Cerner charting system used, experience preferred
Royal blue scrubs required
Provide nursing care within a fast-paced IR department at a teaching hospital designated as a Comprehensive Stroke center
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates accepted
Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
No RTO permitted within the contract
Former permanent employees must wait at least 12 months before returning to this health system as a traveler
