AMN Healthcare Revenue Cycle is seeking a travel RN in Inpatient Case Management for a Sitka, Alaska assignment. Start date is 10/05/2026 with a 13-week duration, 40 hours per week, and 8-hour shifts.

The RN Inpatient Care Coordinator will review records and coordinate care across teams to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. The role requires a BSN and AK RN license, 3+ years in inpatient care coordination or discharge planning, and strong familiarity with medical terminology and coding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and active AK RN license.
• 8 years of clinical care experience, 3+ in chart review, risk management, or quality service.
• 3 years of inpatient care coordination or discharge planning experience.
• Knowledge of medical records for medical necessity, level of care, and payer reimbursement basics.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records and care plans to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care.
• Coordinate care with physicians, leadership, care teams, patients and families; support discharge planning and utilization management.
• Manage documentation, appeals, notifications, quality reviews and billing-related communication.
