Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC seeks an Infection Prevention Specialist for a travel assignment in Franklin, NH, starting 10/26/2026 for 15 weeks. This long-term care setting focuses on infection prevention and control, with a 40-hour work week and day shifts from 08:00 to 16:30.

The IP will develop and monitor the infection prevention program, conduct surveillance for healthcare-associated infections, lead outbreak management, educate staff on IPC practices, and update policies to align with

Qualifications

IP certification required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced long-term care setting.
Strong communication and collaboration with diverse care teams.
Competence in surveillance, data collection, and reporting related to infection prevention.
Willingness to commit to a 15-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor the infection prevention program across the assignment context.
Conduct surveillance for healthcare-associated infections; collect data, analyze trends, and report findings.
Participate in outbreak management and incident response; coordinate containment strategies with the care team.
Educate staff on infection prevention practices, including hand hygiene, PPE use, and transmission-based precautions.
Review and update infection prevention policies and procedures to align with current guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify infection risks and implement evidence-based mitigation strategies.
