Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an IMC Stepdown unit in Round Rock, TX. Requires 1 year of telemetry/stepdown experience and NIH Stroke Certification. Must hold TX (or compact) RN license, BLS and ACLS, with no major gaps in the last year. This is a 13-week contract with a night shift 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Travelers outside a 50-mile radius only; one professional reference required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Housing assistance and travel benefits included.

Qualifications

Active RN license in TX or compact license.
NIH Stroke Certification required.
Minimum 1 year of IMC/stepdown or telemetry nursing experience.
Current BLS and ACLS certification (not expiring within 30 days).
No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

IMC Stepdown unit within a hospital setting.
Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
13-week contract assignment.
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted.
One professional reference required for consideration.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
