Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced RN for an IMC Stepdown role in Washington, DC, requiring DC licensure and prior travel experience. The assignment is 36 hours/week on 3x12 shifts with 13 weeks duration.

Position requires DC RN license, BLS/ACLS, telemetry and dysrhythmia expertise, and experience with ventilated patients. EOW rotation and holiday coverage apply; travel stipends included.

Qualifications

• Active DC RN license required (pending DC license accepted with proof of application at time of consideration)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years RN experience within last 7 years
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required
• Experience in PCU/IMC/Stepdown and telemetry settings
• Skilled in management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Experience caring for ventilated patients

Responsibilities

• Provide stepdown-level nursing care including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• Care for ventilated patients in IMC/Stepdown unit
• Utilize Cerner EMR to document patient care and monitor telemetry
