Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Burn Trauma ICU assignment on the night shift in Plano, TX. Applicants must hold a TX or compact RN license and NIH Stroke certification, with at least 1 year in Burn Trauma ICU care.

The role spans 13 weeks, with certifications valid through start and a requirement to live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility. Travel and licensure reimbursements, housing allowances, and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted).
• NIH Stroke certification required for Burn Unit (ICU) staff.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Burn Trauma ICU experience.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted).
• One professional reference required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Burn Trauma ICU (BTICU) of a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted.
