Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an ICU RN to join the Nursing Float Pool at a Trauma Level I facility in Massachusetts. Candidates must meet MA licensure, BLS/ACLS, and ASN requirements, with 2–5 years ICU experience.

Preference for Level I trauma experience; travel nursing background and Epic EMR familiarity are important. Shifts are 12 hours (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), 36 hours/week, with every-other weekend; local candidates are not accepted and applicants must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a Nursing Float Pool position at a Trauma Level I facility requiring 2-5 years of ICU experience and an active MA RN license.

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ASN required
• 2-5 years of ICU experience required
• Trauma Level I facility experience preferred, though candidates with Trauma Level II experience may be considered
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a Tele/ECG and Medication test administered on first day (pass/fail, failure may result in assignment termination)

Responsibilities

• Work within the Nursing Float Pool at a Trauma Level I hospital

• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility before returning
