Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a traveler RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Lakeview, Oregon.

The RN will work 36 hours per week on a night shift, with travel benefits, housing allowance, and credentialing support. Requirements include active RN license, nursing degree, and 18+ months of acute care L&D experience with BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS and AWHONN certifications. Travel experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN certifications.
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery nurses provide care to women and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor mother and baby vital signs during birth.
• Identify potential high-risk problems and intervene as needed.
• Educate and support mothers and families after delivery.
