Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse in Hematology/Oncology for a travel assignment in Boston, MA. You will provide patient care in infusion services within a healthcare facility, perform triage, nurse assessments, port access, IV starts, and patient education.

The 13-week assignment offers guaranteed 40 hours per week with 10-hour shifts and a start date of 11/02/2026. Active RN license, BLS, chemo cert, and ONC are required or preferred; 2+ years in hematology/oncology or infusion

Qualifications

• Active RN license and current licensure in the applicable state.
• BLS required; Chemo certification required; ONC preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years in hematology/oncology and/or infusion settings.
• Ability to work in high-volume hematology/oncology with infusion services.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage by telephone and in person; document encounters in EMR.
• Conduct nursing assessments including vitals and med reconciliation.
• Manage in-office procedures (EKGs, PFTs) and related procedures.
• Provide port access, IV starts, draw labs, and phlebotomy as needed.
• Administer injections, manage pumps, vaccines; provide patient education.
• Review labs/imaging and communicate critical values; support follow-up care.
• Educate patients and coordinate care including referrals as directed.
• Document all triage interactions for provider access.
