Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a travel assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. The Oncology RN will care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients, administering chemotherapy and monitoring progress in a 12-hour day shift.
The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, BLS & ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of Acute Care Oncology experience. Housing and travel benefits are included, with weekly pay and credentialing support.
Qualifications
- Active RN license.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS & ACLS certifications.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting.
- Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.
Responsibilities
- Care for cancer patients across disease stages, focusing on the acute phase.
- Administer chemotherapy and manage treatment-related symptoms.
- Monitor patient progress and provide supportive care.
- Educate patients and families about treatment options and procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
