American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an RN for a GI Lab/Endoscopy position in Petaluma, CA. The role requires at least 3 years of GI Lab experience and Epic proficiency.

Shifts are Day, 5x8 with 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 40 hours weekly. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a start date of Oct 5, 2026, and a $2,511 per week pay rate.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license (Compact license accepted) in hand at submission.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; CGRN certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years GI Lab RN experience required.
• Epic charting system experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in GI Lab of a hospital, covering inpatient, outpatient endoscopy, and pre/post procedure settings.
• Perform procedures including bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EBUS, EUS, varices banding, and sclerotherapy.
• Administers and monitors conscious sedation and monitored anesthesia care.
• May float between sister facilities as needed.
• Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for GI procedures, specimen handling/labeling, and post-procedure recovery.

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring at least 3 years of GI Lab experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work in the GI Lab of a hospital, covering inpatient, outpatient endoscopy center, and pre/post procedure settings
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Performs procedures including bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EBUS, EUS, esophageal varices banding, and sclerotherapy
• Administers and monitors conscious sedation and monitored anesthesia care
• Uses equipment such as balloon dilators, bronchoscopy carts, electrosurgical units, ERBE, forceps, and polyp snares
• Epic EMR experience required
• May float between sister facilities as needed

Requirements

• Active CA RN license (Compact license accepted) in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; CGRN certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of GI Lab RN experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in administering conscious sedation, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, airway management, and post-procedure recovery care
• Experience starting and maintaining IVs, obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, and medication administration including opioid analgesics, Propofol, Versed, and reversal agents
• Provation experience preferred2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for GI procedures, specimen handling/labeling, and post-procedure patient recovery
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility as permanent staff, traveler, or per-diem, including location and dates
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
• Local radius rule of 50 miles applies
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travel candidate and must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the offer process, as post-offer requests may not be accommodated
• First-time travelers considered only with 3+ years of experience
