Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for the 2 North Observation Unit in Virginia Beach, VA. This is a 14-week, temporary full-time assignment on the Day shift with no benefits.

The unit handles short-stay patients and focuses on rapid discharge with physician collaboration. Candidates must hold a Virginia or Compact multi-state RN license, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification, with 2+ years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• NIH Stroke Scale

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care to Observation Unit patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate timely discharge (within 24 hours where possible).
