Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Location: Mercy Main Emergency | Employer: Athena Medtech

Schedule: 3 Days/Week, 12-Hour Shifts (18:30 – 07:00, Monday to Friday)

Total Hours/Week: 36 Hours

Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years

Position Summary

Athena Medtech is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team at Mercy Main Emergency. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong clinical background in emergency care and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized patient care plans.
• Accurately monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions to relevant healthcare professionals.
• Serve as the primary coordinator across multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless and effective patient care.
• Execute physician and nursing orders promptly and accurately.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and facilitate discharge planning and post-care coordination.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting.
• Proven ability to manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment.
