Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night-shift travel assignment requiring TNCC and NIH Stroke certification. The position is based in Texas and requires an active RN license with compact state eligibility.

Candidates must have BLS/ACLS, CPI, NIH Stroke certification, and at least 1 year of ER experience with no 90-day gaps in the past year. The 13-week assignment includes travel housing support and per diem options.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted, must not expire within first 30 days of assignment).
• TNCC certification required for ER placement.
• CPI certification required for ER units.
• NIH Stroke Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent ER nursing experience required.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting.
• 13-week travel assignment.
• Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered.
