American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to join a hospital Emergency Department in North Dakota on a 13-week assignment. The position requires an active ND or Compact-state RN license and current specialty certifications.

You will work night shifts 3x12s (5 PM–5 AM), with every other weekend, on-call duties, and travel housing allowances and benefits provided. This travel assignment includes per diem options, licensure support, and weekly payroll.

• Active RN license through the North Dakota Board of Nursing or Compact State Agreement.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC.

• Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department per policies and procedures.
• Perform daily rounds, assess patient conditions, and develop individualized care plans.
• Identify early signs of deterioration and respond with emergency measures as needed.
• Coordinate care within an interdisciplinary team and educate patients for safe discharge.

Requirements

• Active RN license through the North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or Compact State Agreement
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department
• Night shift schedule: 3x12s, typically 5p-5a, 36 hrs/week
• Every other weekend required
• Open to blocked scheduling for weekends (Fri-Sun), but weekday block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Holiday coverage per unit schedule
• On-call responsibilities required
• 13-week assignment
• Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
• Perform daily patient rounds, assess patient conditions, and develop individualized plans of careIdentify early warning signs of patient deterioration and respond appropriately, including initiating emergency measures as needed
• Coordinate care within an interdisciplinary team and provide patient education to support safe discharge planning
• Document observations, interventions, and incident reports accurately and promptly
