Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department assignment in Louisiana. The 14-week night shift runs 7 PM to 7 AM and requires TNCC and CPI training.

Candidates must hold an active LA or Compact license, BLS/ACLS, ER experience, and CPI; willing to travel within 50 miles and not local to the facility. Gaps and expiring certifications are restricted.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Louisiana or Compact).
• Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required prior to consideration
• CPI certification required; SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted in lieu of CPI based on facility requirement
• Minimum 1 year of recent ER nursing experience required
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital licensed for 328 beds
• 14-week assignment on a 7P-7A night shift schedule
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions
• Local candidates will not be considered
