Job summary

Magnet Medical is partnering with TravelNurseSource to place an EP Lab RN in York, PA. This assignment focuses on electrophysiology procedures, including EPS mapping, catheter ablation, and pacemaker/defibrillator cases.

The RN will provide pre-procedure assessments, assist in procedures, monitor during and after care, and educate patients and families about post-procedure care. Candidates should have EP experience and BLS for onboarding.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required for onboarding.
• Competency exam required for onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Procedure Assessment and Preparation: conduct thorough pre-procedure assessments and educate patients about the procedure and risks.
• Assist the electrophysiologist during EPS and catheter ablation procedures and set up mapping equipment.
• Monitor vital signs, oxygenation, and ECG during procedures and manage medications as ordered.
• Post-Procedure Care: monitor recovery, educate on wound care, activity restrictions, and follow-up care.
