Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an EP Lab travel nurse (RN) for a Springfield, IL assignment. The position requires EP Lab experience, ACLS and BLS, and offers a 25-week duration with 40 hours per week on 10-hour day shifts.

Travel RN duties include assisting physicians, managing EP procedures, and supporting cardiac mapping and related studies. Ideal candidates will adapt quickly to a fast-paced EP lab team, lift requirements up to 50 pounds, and maintain equipment with a high level of patient care.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required; EP Lab experience (2 years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex EP lab technologies and assist physicians with procedures diagnosing and treating heart rhythm problems.
• Assist with ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, cardioversions, loop recorder implants and related EP procedures.
• Support diagnostic studies such as cardiac mapping and EP studies.
