Requirements include an active RN license, a minimum of 2 years’ EP Lab nursing experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and proficiency in interpreting EKGs and handling EP lab equipment.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years’ EP Lab nursing experience.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology procedures and protocols.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Proficient in interpreting EKGs and handling EP lab equipment.
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care during complex electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, risks, and follow-up care.
• Document patient care accurately within EMR systems.
