Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Springfield, MA is seeking a travel nurse RN in the ED to join our client hospital for a 13-week assignment starting 10/05/2026. The role is 36 hours per week with 12-hour evening shifts and travel status.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license and a nursing degree, with 18 months ER experience. BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications may be required. We offer weekly pay, housing or housing allowance, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• Eighteen months of recent ER Acute Care experience
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Knowledgable about general health issues and specific health concerns for urgent care.
• Understand triage and prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health.
