Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a PCU-ED Hold position in Washington. The role requires 2+ years of nursing experience and EPIC EMR proficiency.

You will float to PCU and ED overflow across facility locations, with 12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week). WA license or compact, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS are required, along with strong skills in rhythm interpretation and invasive line care.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation and complex patient care.

Responsibilities

• Floating position covering PCU-level patients across facility locations, with majority in ED overflow.
• PCU has 33 beds with 1:4 patient ratios.
• Patient population includes respiratory distress, ESRD, AKI, COPD, GI bleeds, sepsis, post-op, CVA, ETOH, overdose, CHF, post Cath/IR, CIWA.
• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Uses EPIC EMR.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Scrubs may be any color except camo, with navy blue preferred.
