Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Elma, Washington. The role centers on leadership within the Emergency Department during a 13-week travel assignment.

The House Supervisor RN will manage hospital operations during shifts, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality patient care. Requires ER leadership experience and WA RN license, with BLS/ACLS/PALS current.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State RN License.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience (leadership or travel experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of emergency protocols and critical care procedures.
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable).
• Current health certificate (per contract/state guidelines).
• Must meet all federal, state, and local compliance requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight across hospital departments.
• Assist ED and inpatient teams with high-acuity situations as needed.
• Coordinate patient flow, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Support and guide nursing staff to maintain quality and regulatory standards.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with rapid assessments and interventions.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in electronic health records.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for hospital operations during shift.
