Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Clinic for a travel nursing job in Chicago, Illinois. This assignment runs 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, on daytime shifts in a Clinic setting.

The ideal RN has 1 year of experience in a Clinic or Outpatient setting, holds a current BLS, and is eligible for State licensure. Travel benefits include a tax-free stipend and structured pay, with opportunities to work with physicians and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories, vital signs, and perform assessments
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as ordered
• Assist providers with minor procedures and diagnostic testing
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
• Perform wound care and basic lab work, including specimen collection
• Monitor patient progress and communicate concerns to providers
• Document nursing care and patient interactions accurately
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure exam rooms are clean and well-stocked
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations
• Support patient scheduling and administrative duties as needed
