American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring at least 2 years of cath lab experience and BLS/ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a 226-bed, non-profit community hospital with 2 procedure rooms and 5 pre/post care holding bays


• Patient population includes cardiac diagnostic and intervention, implantable devices, EP mapping and ablation, vascular diagnostic and intervention, and interventional radiology cases


• Utilizes EPIC and Merge EMR systems


• 12-hour day shifts scheduled 0700-1730


• No weekend rotation, with weekends covered by call only


• On-call responsibilities include approximately every 4th weekend (Friday 1700 through Monday 0700) and one weekday call per week from end of shift until 0700 the next morning


• No floating required

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required


• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required


• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
  
• Skilled in administering and monitoring conscious sedation


• Strong assessment and monitoring skills for clinical patient status


• Theoretical and practical knowledge of medications used in the Cath Lab


• Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and hemodynamic support


• Strong communication skills with patient care team, patients, and families

In compliance with state pay transparency laws, we disclose that the estimated weekly pay range for this role is $2,484 - $2,650. The $2,650 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
