American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab assignment in Billings, Montana. The role requires MT license, BLS, ACLS/NRP/PALS as applicable, and at least 1 year in Cardiac Cath Lab. Work 4 days of 10 hours each (0730-1800), with call obligations and potential float to other departments.

Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring MT or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (0730-1800)
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation
• Requires taking call 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month, with additional call possibly required
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required, no pending licenses accepted
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit or service
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab specialty required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted nursing practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further evaluation as needed
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system and adhere to service behavior standards
• Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
