ARMStaffing seeks a travel nurse RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Passaic, New Jersey. The RN will provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular lab, monitor hemodynamic data, and collaborate with physicians to ensure patient safety.

Requirements include an active RN license, BCLS/ACLS, BSN preferred, and at least 1 year in a cardiovascular or critical care setting. Travel assignment includes housing, travel reimbursement, and benefits.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiovascular Lab provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. This role addresses the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. The RN communicates continuously and as needed with the physician about patient conditions, assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory, and monitors patients' conditions continuously while in the Cardiovascular Lab.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the Cardiovascular Lab.
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certificate required upon hire.
• One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area required.
