American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN Case Manager for an outpatient case management and utilization review role in California. The position requires a CA RN license, Epic EMR experience, BLS, and at least 1 year in case management and acute care settings.

The 13-week travel assignment is day shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with local candidates considered at the same travel rate and housing support. Prior travel or permanent staff separation rules apply.

Qualifications

• CA RN license required in-hand at time of application
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of case management/utilization review experience
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
• Epic EMR experience required and noted in work history
• Outpatient experience required
• Prior authorization experience preferred
• CPT and ICD-10 coding knowledge preferred
• Experience in surgical services and women's services preferred
• Former charge nurse experience preferred
• Two supervisor references required at time of application

Responsabilités

• Outpatient case management and utilization review in ambulatory setting
• Day shift, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Case management and utilization review responsibilities within ambulatory setting
• Locals accepted at travel pay rate
• Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Prior travel experience generally required with possible exceptions
• No RTO in first two weeks; max 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract preferred
