Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Registered Nurse Case Manager for a 13-week contract in Largo, Florida. The role requires a current state RN license, hospital-based experience with utilization/case management, and is supported by benefits such as health insurance and 401K matching.

This temporary assignment offers 5x8 day shifts, licensing reimbursement, and staffing support across all states. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to act quickly in emergencies.

Qualifications

• Current state nursing license required.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• Minimum of three years hospital-based nursing with utilization/case management experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides case management services to patients according to policy and procedure.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and staff.
• Sets priorities and follows through to promote efficiency and patient safety.
• Maintains knowledge of billing, contracts and reimbursement aspects.
