Job summary

AdventHealth Ocala, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for a 16-week contract working 36 hours per week on the night shift. You will follow infection prevention precautions, ensure medication safety, and develop individualized care plans for diverse patient populations in a fast-paced unit.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, perform regular assessments, document in Cerner, and participate in rounds and hand-offs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Florida RN license required.
• BLS is required; NRP preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows infection prevention precautions and policies.
• Develops and implements individualized plans of care.
• Performs assessments and documents patient status.
• Communicates with interdisciplinary team and families.
• Participates in rounds, hand-offs, and quality initiatives.
