Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking a Cardiac Telemetry RN for a night-shift travel assignment in Missouri. The unit is 36-bed, with a 4:1–5:1 patient ratio, and uses Meditech EMR, Pyxis, and Welch Allyn devices. ACLS certification and an active MO license are required for consideration.

The position runs nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with a 13-week length and a weekend rotation. Minimum 1 year telemetry experience and post-cath/pacemaker recovery expertise are expected.

Qualifications

• Active MO or compact RN license required.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year telemetry experience.
• Experience recovering post-cath/pacemaker, stroke patients, amiodarone and Cardizem drips.
• Two professional references required for Missouri placements.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration.
• NIH Stroke Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac telemetry nursing care on a fast-paced, high-energy unit.
• Maintain patient ratios of 4:1 to 5:1.
• Operate Pyxis, Alaris pumps, and Welch Allyn vitals devices.
• Document in Meditech EMR.
• Floating to other telemetry departments, med-surg, and PCU as needed.
• Weekend shifts required (3 shifts in 4 weeks).
