Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Surgical ICU. This 14-week assignment offers a Day Shift with a pay rate of $75.00 per hour.

Required: Virginia or Compact Multi-State License, BLS, ACLS, and 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience. The unit handles post-operative patients including open-heart surgeries and complex support devices.

Qualifications

• Requires Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• 2+ years of Cardiac ICU experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications required.
• Knowledge of NIH Stroke Scale is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Care for post-open heart surgery patients (CABG, valve procedures, TAVR, etc.).
• Provide intensive hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
• Administer multiple drug infusions and monitor critically ill patients.
