A leading healthcare facility in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of acute care ICU RN experience and appropriate certifications. Offering a pay rate of $70/hr for a 14-week night shift assignment. The ideal candidate should have a valid nursing license and must be capable of providing critical care to cardiac patients. This position does not provide benefits during the temporary assignment.

Qualifications

Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care ICU hospital RN experience.
Virginia or Compact Multi‑State License in good standing required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is mandatory.

Department/Unit Overview

10 Bed Unit on the 2nd floor of the Sentara Heart Hospital
Patient population includes: Cardiac patients (not surgical), pulmonary hypertension, heart attacks, heart failure, sepsis, and this unit is the MRT for the Heart Hospital.
