Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel contract in Winchester, VA. The nurse will float between Med Surg and Telemetry, including cardiac patients, working 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week in a hospital setting.

Required ACLS, BLS (AHA), VA state license or Compact, 2+ years of RN experience, and prior travel experience. Proficiency with EPIC EMR is expected, with competitive pay and benefits provided by VyTalent Solutions.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS (AHA) required.
• VA state license or Compact; NIH license note in posting.
• 2+ years RN experience; travel experience preferred.
• Must be able to float to other units and have cardiac experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a busy hospital setting within the Float Pool.
• Float between Med Surg and Telemetry units, including cardiac patients.
• Utilize EPIC EMR to document patient information accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
• Adhere to protocols for patient safety and effective treatment.
