Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel assignment in Akron, Ohio. The role involves 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, and a 13-week duration.

Requirements include an active RN license, a nursing degree, BLS & ACLS certifications, and 18 months of recent Cath Lab experience in Acute Care. Travel benefits include weekly pay, housing options, and credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent Cath Lab experience in Acute Care.

Responsibilities

• Administer care for heart disease and heart attack patients by obtaining visual diagnostics of the arteries of the heart.
• Identify blockages, assist the physician during procedures, and monitor the patient’s status.
• Administer interventional procedures like cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker and/or defibrillator implantation, and related procedures.
