American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Colorado. Requires at least 1 year of acute care Cath Lab experience and an active Colorado or Compact RN license.

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required, with no gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past year. The position operates day shifts from 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM with on-call 1–2 shifts weekly and a weekend rotation about every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or Compact.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience.
• Holding experience preferred.
• Monitoring experience preferred.
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months.
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 holding bays and 2 cath suites.
• Unit staffed by a team of 9.
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM.
• Pre/post procedural area follows a variable 0700-1700 schedule.
• Patient ratio of 3 staff to 1 patient in the procedural area.
• Uses GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab equipment.
• Charts in Meditech EMR.
• Performs LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests.
• On-call requirement of 1-2 shifts per week.
• Weekend rotation approximately every third weekend (Friday-Saturday-Sunday).
• Provide direct patient care within a busy Cardiac Cath Lab supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Must reside within a 30-minute commute of the facility for on-call responsiveness.
