Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN with at least 1 year of cath lab acute care experience for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a Colorado or compact RN license.

The role includes a 3-room Cath Lab/EP Lab, with 10 staff on shift, day hours 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, and on-call responsibilities (approx. 8–10 days per month). EMRs used: Meditech and MacLab. RN duties cover coronary and peripheral imaging, interventions, and device implants.

Qualifications

• Active CO or compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of current Cath Lab hospital acute care experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Electrophysiology experience preferred
• Coronary and peripheral experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration

Responsibilities

• 3-room Cardiac Catheterization and EP Lab staffing
• Perform coronary and peripheral angiograms and interventions
• Device implants as needed
• Call required Monday through Friday and weekends, averaging 8-10 call days per month
• Use Meditech and MacLab EMR systems
• Maintain 40-hour weekly schedule in a 13-week assignment
• Coordinate with team for patient care and safety
