Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Travel Nurse RN specialized in Cardiac Cath Lab for a 13-week assignment in Baltimore, Maryland. The role requires 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts and an active RN license.

ACLS may be required by the contract, and HIPAA practices must be followed. Responsibilities include assisting with cardiac procedures, circulating and scrubbing, monitoring vitals, and providing discharge instructions.

Qualifications

• 13-week travel assignment in Baltimore, MD.
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.
• ACLS may be required by state/client contract.
• Current RN license in the work state.
• HIPAA and patient confidentiality compliance.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Administers patient medications.
• Assists in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Circulates and scrubs during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Discharge teaching for patients and families.
• Ensures consent paperwork is completed accurately.
• Monitors patient vital signs pre-, during and post-procedure.
• Prepares patients for procedures.
