Job summary

HiredFirst seeks a Travel RN for Behavioral Health at a freestanding 61-bed facility in Vallejo, CA. The assignment is 13 weeks with option to extend and evenings 3pm-11:30pm. CPI can be attained on site and candidates should have an RN license and BLS.

Minimum 1–2 years of psych experience is preferred; CPI is preferred. This travel role offers a collaborative clinical environment and opportunities to expand specialty experience in behavioral health care.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state where practice is required.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of psychiatric/behavioral health experience.
• CPI preferred; can be attained on site.

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in psychiatric ICU per standards of care.
• Supervises nursing staff and coordinates with multidisciplinary team.
• Conducts assessments, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Participates in discharge planning and patient education.
