Job summary

HiredFirst seeks a Travel RN for Behavioral Health at a freestanding 61-bed facility in Vallejo, CA. The assignment is 13 weeks with option to extend and evenings 3pm-11:30pm. CPI can be attained on site and candidates should have an RN license and BLS.

Minimum 1–2 years of psych experience is preferred; CPI is preferred. This travel role offers a collaborative clinical environment and opportunities to expand specialty experience in behavioral health care.

Shift: Vallejo Location -Evening Shift 3pm to 11:30pm; 5 x 8s, no set days. typically, every other weekend as well. Must have RN license, BLS, and preferably CPI. CPI can be attained on site. Require 1 year of psych experience. (2nd 8h)

• Job Summary: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
• Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred Acute care facility experience: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required Facility Specific License/Certifications: AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required Essential Functions: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
• Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues
• Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes
• Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment

• Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient's situation
