Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville seeks an experienced RN to join the Staffing Collaborative for 13-26 week temporary assignments in Acute Surgical Stepdown (10N). This role offers premium pay and optional health benefits, with day or night shifts available (7a-7p / 7p-7a).

The assignment supports coverage across units, with RN requirements including current licensure as a Registered Nurse, graduation from an approved program, and 1 year of Stepdown RN experience (2+ preferred).

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Required
• Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program (or equivalent experience)
• 1 year of Stepdown RN experience; preferred 2+ years of recent Surgical Stepdown RN experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyzes information pertinent to the patient\'s care to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually uses the nursing process to evaluate progress and apply interventions.
• Promotes health and a safe environment.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
