Job summary

Quik Travel Staffing is seeking an Acute Dialysis RN to provide dialysis treatments to acutely ill patients in a hospital setting. You will assess, monitor, and document patient response before, during, and after treatment, administer medications, operate dialysis equipment, and collaborate with physicians to develop plans. <\/p>

Requirements include 1+ year of dialysis nursing experience, a valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of recent experience as an acute / inpatient dialysis nurse.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Current state RN license in good standing, or a compact state RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required (Acute setting only).

Responsibilities

• Provide dialysis treatments to acutely ill patients in an acute or hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient response before, during, and after treatment.
• Administer prescribed medications and fluid therapy.
• Operate, maintain, and disinfect dialysis equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to develop treatment plans.
• Respond to emergencies and manage complications during dialysis.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and hospital safety protocols.
• Educate patients and families on dialysis care and treatment expectations.
• Support and train hospital staff on dialysis procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
