Solutions By Sanford is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments at Chamberlain Medical Center in Chamberlain, SD. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and inter-professional teams, and support patients and families across the continuum of care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an unencumbered RN license in the practicing state, and minimum years of experience with

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs.
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care.
• Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Plan and coordinate care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions.
• Function within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined by applicable rules and the Code of Ethics.
