Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. Collaborates with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care.

Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes age/population specific standards in their assigned clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; RN licensure required.
• Currently holds an RN license in the state where practice occurs (or multistate license).
• At least one year of experience; at least six months of travel experience.
• Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient assessment, education, triage and various nursing interventions.
