Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a travel nursing opportunity at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo, offering a 12-hour day shift and 36 weekly hours. It requires at least 1 year of RN experience, plus travel experience and an active RN license, with multistate licensure considered.

Contracts run 14 weeks with extension options, and weekly pay with Sanford Benefits. Clinicians collaborate with physicians and other professionals, following the nursing process to deliver individualized care across all care phases.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with physicians and other colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing knowledge and standards.
• Care for patients across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Plan and coordinate care, including patient education, triage and various nursing interventions.
• Practice within the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice.
