Job summary

ECU Health in North Carolina is seeking skilled travel nurses for 13‑week assignments. You will deliver and coordinate nursing care per NC Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and ECU Health policies, collecting assessment data, identifying outcomes, and developing a care plan with patients and families in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

You will delegate tasks, document progress, and adapt to unit needs while floating to other areas as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or associates in nursing or higher
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1+ year nursing experience required
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required
• Strong communication and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care per NC Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards
• Collect and analyze assessment data, identify outcomes, and develop a plan of care with patient/family and interdisciplinary team
• Delegate tasks as appropriate and document progress
• Float to other areas as needed and adapt to unit needs
• Maintain confidentiality and professional communication with patient, family, and staff
