Job summary

ECU Health in North Carolina seeks a travel nurse to provide and coordinate nursing care, assess patients, and develop care plans with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team.

You will collaborate with staff to meet patient needs, delegate tasks per NC Nurse Practice Act, and ensure continuous care across shifts. A 13-week assignment with extension options is available for travel staff.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing, Associate in Nursing or higher.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• More than 1 year of nursing experience required.
• ACLS Certification and BLS required.
• Proficiency with PC-based applications.
• Flexible to meet 24-hour patient needs.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication with patients and team.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care, collect assessment data, and plan care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
• Delegate tasks per NC Nurse Practice Act and monitor progress.
