Modoc Medical Center is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a retail-style assignment. You will dispense medications, review prescriptions for accuracy, and provide patient counseling during a 13-week engagement starting 11/03/2026.

This role features 3 x 12-hour rotating shifts, 36 scheduled hours per week, and a weekly pay of $3136.0. Candidates must comply with state laws and participate in team education and quality assurance to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Mansioni

• Compounding and dispensing prescribed medications and pharmaceuticals for patient care.
• Reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and determining the necessary formulas and ingredients.
• Leading pharmacy staff in mixing, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceuticals.
• Providing information and counseling to customers regarding drug interactions, side effects, and dosage.
• Engaging with patients and clients to promote customer service programs and program integrations.
• Ensuring quality assurance and security concerning controlled substances and hazardous waste disposal.
• Maintaining pharmacy records and entering data related to patients, prescriptions, and inventory management.
• Instructing and mentoring interns and pharmacy personnel, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
• Addressing and resolving third party prescription issues promptly.
• Reporting medication errors and adhering to medication incident policies.
