Job summary
DisplayMax, Inc. is seeking a Construction Installation Specialist in Howell, MI. This full-time, travel-based role supports advanced retail fixture installations and structural work at customer sites nationwide.
You will read drawings, perform carpentry tasks, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion under a Site Lead/Lead Specialist. Overnight travel may be required, including weekends and extended assignments.
Qualifications
- 1+ year retail installation/construction experience preferred
- Able to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Physically able to bend, climb, stand for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license required
- Reliable transportation
- Forklift and scissor lift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Willingness to travel extensively and stay on assignment
Responsibilities
- Install and modify complex retail fixture systems
- Perform patch/paint/flooring/framing/finish carpentry as required
- Interpret installation drawings, schematics, and scope documents
- Travel to assigned retail accounts nationwide
- Mentor Merchandiser Installers and Installation Specialists
- Maintain job site safety and organization
- Complete reporting and photo documentation
- Communicate effectively with team members, leads and project managers
