Job summary

Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA is seeking a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 14-week assignment at $80.00/hr. This temporary full-time night shift position requires an active Virginia license and NBRC RRT credentials.

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy is required; non-degreed applicants with RRT credentials before 2006 or military RT program graduates with RRT credentials will be considered. No benefits are provided for this travel assignment.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Active NBRC RRT credential.
• Virginia state license and BLS (time of hire).
• New graduates must obtain NBRC RRT within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders across neonatal to adult patients.
• Collaborate with nursing and health care team for patient care.
• Assess and implement age-appropriate respiratory interventions.
